PORTAGEVILLE -- Michael DeWayne Bissel, 27, died Oct. 3, 2005, at Portageville Nursing Center.
Born Dec. 18, 1977, in Hayti, son of John Michael "Earl" Bissel of Portageville and Patricia "Patty" Jones Birdwell of New Madrid, he was raised by Earl Bissel of Portageville.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kasandra "Cassie" Bissel of New Madrid; one brother, Derek Bissel of Lilbourn; one sister, Tonya Powell of New Madrid; and his grandparents, Ras and Barbara Jones of New Madrid.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Imogene Bissel, in 1997; and one uncle, Kenny Ray Bissel, in 1980.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Wayne Tribble will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
