ADVANCE - Billie Sims Harris, 68, died July 26, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 4, 1937, at Advance, daughter of the late Nathan and Dortha Johnson Sims, she was a 1955 graduate of Advance High School. A homemaker, she was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church and the Advance Order of Eastern Star.
On Aug. 2, 1958, in Advance, she married David Harris who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Cindy Bonee of Advance; one brother, Jimmy John Sims of Advance; three sisters, Patsy Jenkins of Sun Lake, Ariz., Gaynell Fowler of Advance and Sharon Spane of Chandler, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Ciara Bonee and Jacob Bonee of Advance.
One brother, Nathan Sims Jr., preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Dan Overton will officiate assisted by the Rev. Jay Scott.
Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park.
