EAST PRAIRIE - Brenda Louise Shewmaker, 52, died at 7:31 a.m. June 3, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 21, 1952, in East Prairie, daughter of the late Syrus and Louise Manning Redfering, she was a lifelong resident of East Prairie and had been employed by Gates Rubber Company in Charleston.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jeff Lambert of Malden; one son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Kim Shewmaker of Lawton, Okla.; one brother, Jimmy Redfering of East Prairie; two sisters, Wanda Whybark of East Prairie and Becky Sickery of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Danner; and one sister, Mable Curtis.
Visitation begins at 7 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday. Gaylord Grindstaff will officiate.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: David Whybark, Bobby Tripp, Delbert Curtis, Alan Peterson, Bennie Joe Thomure and Claude Thomure.
