Edna Boone

PARMA - Edna Boone, 84, died Sept. 16, 2002, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in New Madrid.

Born Aug. 25, 1918, in Blue Ridge, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Norman R. and Para Lee Anderson Garland.

On Sept. 28, 1944, at Piggott, Ark., she married Samuel Lewis Boone who preceded her in death on July 31, 1966.

Survivors include: one son, Harold L. Boone of Oakwood Village, Ohio; one daughter, Bertha Truett of St. Louis; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services are scheduled for noon Wednesday at the Parma Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter officiating.
