Max Putnam

BERNIE - Max Lynn Putnam, 63, died Sept. 15, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born May 16, 1939, in Dexter, son of Vivian Perry Putnam of Bernie and the late G.E. Putnam, he had been a truck driver and was presently employed by the Southeast Co-op in Dexter.

On June 9, 1956, at Bernie, he married Jean Williams who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and David Hutchcraft, Tammy and Michael Brown and Kelly and Derek Urhahn of Dexter; three brothers, Harold Putnam of Warrenton, Larry Putnam of Phillipsburg and Gary Putnam of Dexter; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Revs. Dean Williams and Kenneth Biggs will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
