Mary Lambert

IMPERIAL - Mary Ellen Lambert, 80, died at 8 p.m. Oct. 31, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare in New Madrid.

Born Nov. 23, 1921, in Catron, daughter of the late James William and Edna Ida Schafer Helms, she was a former resident of Florissant and Matthews and had attended Grace Assembly in Florissant.

She was first married to Albert Patton who preceded her in death in 1935. She and Frank Lucido were married in 1964 and he died on Dec. 31, 967. On May 25, 1970, she married William Lambert who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1979.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Linda Patton of Park Hills; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Edna and Leon Raymer of Shakopee, Minn., Sue and Sonny Schollmeyer of Cedar Hill, JoAnn and Howard Nowlin of Imperial and Rose Link of Florissant; one sister, Ruby Spencer of Matthews; and 35 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Two sons, one daughter, eight brothers, four sisters and three grandchildren also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Thomas Hargrove, pastor of Grace Assembly in Florissant, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Junior Schollmeyer, Richard Schollmeyer, Sonny Junior Schollmeyer, Danny Mathenia, Kenny Waller and Curtis Spencer.
