PARMA -- Gracie Shaw, 91, died Oct. 30, 2002, at the Malden Nursing Center.

Born Dec. 5, 1910, in Wright County, daughter of the late Louis and Roxie Ward Cravens, she was a retired New Madrid County librarian. A lifelong resident of Parma, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parma, the VFW Auxiliary, the Home Extension Club and the Parma Citizens Club.

In 1927, at New Madrid County, she married Edgar Allen Wyman, who preceded her in death in 1950. She married Carl Stephens Shaw in December 1958 and he died on Feb. 11, 1974.

Survivors include: one son, Raymond Wyman of Parma; two daughters, Helen Blevins of O'Fallon and Norma Lee Patton of Groveland, Fla.; one sister, Sylvia Gregg of Parma; and 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Verla Mae Wyman and Lloyd Wayne Wyman; five brothers, Gilbert Cravens, Dale Cravens, Riley Cravens, Floyd Cravens and Franklin D. Cravens; and five sisters, Laura Johnson, Alta Ramsey, Mabel Cravens, Imojean Tipton and Margaret Ordiway.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. John Girdley of Parma will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.
