Bill Mannon
FISK - William Alford "Bill" Mannon, 51, formerly of East Prairie, died at 7:35 p.m. Oct. 30, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Born April 13, 1951, in East Prairie, son of William A. "Pete" Mannon of Fisk and the late Ina L. Baty Mannon, he lived in Fisk for the past 10 years and was of the Baptist belief.
He married Cheryl Bowers who preceded him in death on Dec. 26, 2001.
Survivors in addition to his father include: three sons, Scott Lee Mannon of East Prairie and Dennis Mannon and Craig Williams of Sikeston; three brothers, Roger A. Mannon, Kenneth W. Mannon and Dennis R. Mannon of Fisk; five sisters, Mary R. Duty and Wanda Stallings of East Prairie, Sharon K. Brashears of Topeka, Ill., Patricia A. Scheffer of Granite City, Ill., and Donna J. Woods of Fisk; and five grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rick White, pastor of the Midland Church in Poplar Bluff, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
Pallbearers will be: Patricia Scheffer, Bryan Pritchett, Glen Ward, Roger Mannon, Kenneth Mannon and Dennis Mannon.
Kenny Williford will serve as honorary pallbearer.
