Cecil Strachan

SIKESTON - Cecil E. Strachan, 46, died May 18, 2002, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield.

Born April 30, 1956, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., son of Minnie L. Fluellen Strachan of Sikeston and the late Cecil E. Strachan Sr., he was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston.

His wife, Judy Strachan, survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two daughters, Teshonda Cravens and Tia Strachan of Rochester, N.Y.; one son, Joseph Strachan of Rochester; two sisters, Diane Jackson of Sikeston and Margo Black of Fort Lauderdale; two brothers, Timothy Strachan of Rochester and Kenneth Strachan of Washington, D.C.; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Wednesday until service time at 11 a.m. at Shady Acres Church of Christ. Patrick Hogan, associate minister, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
