Pearl Morris

ESSEX -- Pearl Morris, 87, died May 20, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Feb. 14, 1915, at Lemont, Ill., daughter of the late Mort and Carrie Sadewater Cornell, she retired as a self-employed decorator and was of the Methodist belief.

On Dec. 14, 1935, at Lemont, she married Asa E. Morris who preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1981.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Antrim of Essex.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Ann Sheperad and Caroline Yocum.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
