Raymond Vaughn
CANALOU - Raymond Vaughn, 83, died Feb. 14, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 6, 1918, in Miner, son of the late Henry Tony and Maggie Mae English Vaughn, he lived in the Canalou area most of his life. He was a member of the Christian Tabernacle in Sikeston and U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
On June 15, 1939, he married Mary Louise Reeves who preceded him in death on Nov. 13, 1992.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, three sisters, two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include: two sons, Woodrow Vaughn of Canalou and Bobby Vaughn of Sikeston; two daughters, Connie Felton of Salem, Ark., and Linda Day of Morehouse; two sisters, Evelyn Rodgers of Dexter and Mary Cantrell of Sikeston; and 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Rev. Jimmy Vent of Morehouse officiating.
