Alton Crowley

SIKESTON - Alton R. Crowley, 57, died Aug. 29, 2003, at his home.

Born Feb. 24, 1946, in Sikeston, son of the late Claude and Mildred Crowley, he retired as a mechanic for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Survivors include: his best friend, Ellen Chrostoski of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eric Crowley of Sikeston and Bob and Deanna Crowley of Sikeston; one sister, Claudia Bolen of Springfield; one brother, Robert Crowley of Pekin, Ill.; and he was "Peepaw" to his five grandchildren, Dakotah, Hunter Shane and Haylee Quertermous and Hunter Crowley and Savannah Crowley.

A remembrance of his life was conducted Aug. 31 at the family home in Sikeston.

Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home of Puxico was in charge of arrangements.
