Barbara Stone

CHARLESTON - Barbara Bailey Stone, 82, of Pasadena, Texas, and formerly of Wyatt, died at 4:55 p.m. July 26, 2002, at the Charleston Manor.

Born June 15, 1920, in Mississippi County, son of the late Roy L. and Callie Beaven Gist, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life before moving to Pasadena in 2000. She was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.

On June 15, 1943, she married Thomas P. "Dude" Bailey who preceded her in death in November 1976.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Brady and Geralyn Bailey of Houston, Texas; and two granddaughters, Christina Bailey of Houston and Terina Westmoreland of Essex.

Four sons and three daughters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Monday until service time at 2 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Tom Bridges of Bertrand will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
