Bob Maddox
DEXTER - Bob G. Maddox, 68, died July 24, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born Feb. 11, 1934, in Choctaw, Ark., son of the late George Landy and Sallie Jewell Robison, he lived in St. Charles, Ill., for many years before moving to Dexter in 1992. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenter's Local 1345 in Geneva, Ill., and of Essex First Baptist Church.
On Dec. 31, 1987, in Dexter, he married Annette Sparacio who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Daryl Maddox of Plato Center, Ill., Bobby Maddox of Maple Park, Ill., and Landy Maddox of Dexter; two daughters, Kathy Monteleone of Plato Center and Sandy Alvarado of Sikeston; three sisters, Wanda Sanders of Essex, Sylvia Bollinger of Advance and Loene Bradford of Clinton, Ark.; and 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Dean, Billy George, John Maddox and Tommy Maddox; and one sister, Helen Easley.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dennis Ward of Essex will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
