SIKESTON -- Claudine B. Hensley, 88, died at 7:12 p.m. May 3, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 12, 1916, in Sikeston to the late George W. and Eva Sadler Hensley Sr., she had been a shoe stitcher for 35 years with the International Shoe Co., retiring in 1975. She was a charter member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one sister, Lucille Garrison of Myrtle; one sister-in-law, Helen C. Hensley of Sikeston; six nephews and their spouses, George and Helen Hensley of Sikeston, Tom and Jessie Garrison, Carroll and Emma Garrison, Bill and Betty Garrison and David and Brenda Garrison of Myrtle and Steve and Rochelle Garrison of Salem, Ark.; two nieces, Barbara Hensley of Sikeston and Kathy Bray of Myrtle. A host of great-nephews and nieces and other relatives also survive.
One brother, George Hensley Jr.; and one brother-in-law, Herman Garrison, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul, James, Tim, Sherman and Tom Garrison and Russell Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tom, Carroll, Bill, Steve and David Garrison and George Hensley.
