Linda Maxey

TEXARKANA, Texas - Linda L. Maxey, 59, died on May 2, 2005, in Matthews, Mo.

Born Dec. 22, 1945, in Perryton, Texas, she was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Texarkana and Matthews First Christian Church in Matthews. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Sweet Adelines, a National Womens' Chorus Group.

Survivors include her husband, Elwin Maxey, of Texarkana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and Edward Wells of Matthews and Amanda and John Sykes of Texarkana; one sister, Rebecca Winburn, of Bryant, Ark.; five-and-a-

half grandchildren, Gordon Wells, Ryan Tellez, Mandalynn Wells, Brooklyn Sykes, Morgan Sykes and Konor Alexander Sykes, coming soon; and her mother-in-law, Leta Mae Maxey of Texarkana.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Edward Wells, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
