Christine Miller-Kincaid
ORAN -- Christine Ann Miller-Kincaid, 50, died at 1:50 p.m. Sept. 26, 2002, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Oran.
Born June 29, 1952, at Topeka, Kan., she was the daughter of Max Robert and Colleen L. Alsup Miller of Sikeston, she was a former teacher at Scott County Central High School in Sikeston. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary and special education at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Kincaid received her master's degree in education from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. She was a social worker for the state of South Carolina in Charleston before moving to Oran two years ago. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston.
On Oct. 2, 1981, at Sikeston, she married Donald Kincaid who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: one brother, Robert Miller of Sikeston; and one sister, Elizabeth L. Michailoff of Camano Island, Wash.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. Sunday until time for a memorial service at 4 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston.
A private burial will be held at a later date at the Bluff Cemetery in Idalia with the Rev. Rufus McLean officiating.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
