Rose Hendrix

BRIDGETON - Rose Hendrix, 92, formerly of Malden, died Oct. 1, 2002, at the Mark Twain Manor in Bridgeton.

Born Sept. 14, 1910, near Kennett, daughter of the late Oliver and Elizabeth Crites Barks, she was a homemaker and member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church.

On Aug. 27, 1929, near Cardwell, she married Russell Herbert Hendrix who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1989.

Survivors include: one son, William F. Hendrix of O'Fallon; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Seven brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Perry Clark of Risco will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
