William Trousdale

SIKESTON -- William Earl Trousdale, 80, died at 9:05 p.m. Aug. 1, 2002, at the Miner Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 3, 1921, in Charleston, son of the late William Earl and Mina Beatrice Holley Trousdale, he was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Charleston. Having served in the U.S. Army transportation division, he had been a truck driver for the General Cable Truck Lines in St. Louis.

He married Violet Trousdale in Reno, Nev., and she preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one brother, Eugene Trousdale of St. Ann; and one sister, Ida Mae Suchman of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
