Marlene Brown

ADVANCE - Marlene Brown, 65, died May 4, 2002, at her home.

Born May 24, 1936, in Ogden, Utah, daughter of the late Charles and Doris Orrell Clark, she was a secretary for the Southern Baptist Association in California for many years and attended the United Methodist Church in Advance.

On Aug. 30, 1953, in San Diego, Calif., she married Jack Brown who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Richard Brown of Fort Worth, Texas, and Matthew Brown of Banning, Calif.; one daughter, Terry Lynn Schleiger of Temecula, Calif.; one brother, Gary Orrell of California; two sisters, Jodie Salas of Utah and Renee Orrell of California; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Advance with the Rev. Tom Zych officiating.
