CHAFFEE - Ada Mae Jackson, 91, died at 3:05 a.m. May 10, 2002, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 31, 1911, in Greenville, daughter of the late William and Sarah Asher, she retired as a store clerk for Woolworth's in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and St. Paul Lutheran Ladies Aid in Chaffee.

On Aug. 7, 1926, she married Lester Jackson who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1997.

Survivors include: two sons, Robert Jackson of Chaffee and William Jackson of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one brother, Walter Asher of Union City, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Six brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Monday until service time at 2 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Karl Leeman will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
