DEXTER - John R. Warren, 75, died on March 15, 2005, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility.
Born May 29, 1929, in Tremble, Tenn., son of the late Shirley Lee and Bertha Mae Harper Warren, he was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter, a retired truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union.
On Nov. 13, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., he married Geraldine Leathers who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Ricky Warren of Tona Pah, Ariz.; two daughters, Jackie Griffin of Essex and Judy Harris of Dexter; five brothers, Lester Warren of Savannah, Ga., Rev. Charles Warren of Sikeston, Bobby Warren of Jonesburg, Billy Warren of DeSoto and Rev. Shirley Warren of Lee Summit; two sisters, Helen Goings of Dexter and Dolly Hudson of Patton; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert Bentley of Dexter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
