Billie Sander

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Wilma Ida "Billie" Sander, 79, formerly of Scott City, Mo., died at 6:25 a.m. March 18, 2002, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Frankfort.

Born March 26, 1922, in Scott County, Mo., daughter of the late Samuel and Elsie Marie Raspberry Menz, she owned and operated a beauty shop. She was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church of Scott City and life member of VFW Post 4075 Ladies Auxiliary in Frankfort.

On Dec. 29, 1942, at Clovis, N.M., she married Clarence Robert Sander who preceded her in death on March 7, 1994.

Survivors include: one son, David Sander of Frankfort; one stepsister, Pat Adams of Springfield, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at Eisleben Lutheran Church. The Rev. Bob Azinger will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
