DEXTER - Nora E. Caldwell, 91, died March 20, 2002, in the Jerseyville Manor in Jerseyville, Ill.
Born Dec. 24, 1910, at Clubb, daughter of the late Lafayette and Laura Phelps Dees, she was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Dexter.
On March 26, 1932, at Steele, she married Loan H. Caldwell who preceded her in death on July 21, 1993.
Survivors include: one son, Gary Lee Caldwell of Dexter; three daughters, Patsey Ruth Hampsey of Godfrey, Ill., Deanna Hose of Branson and Barbara Jo Gans of Naples, Fla.; one sister, Catherine Horn of Modesto, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Maxine Caldwell and Jackie Marie Caldwell; one sister, Clora Mouser; and several brothers.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at 2 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Clyde Shaw will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
