Janet Fountain

SIKESTON - Janet Fountain, 43, died Sept. 28, 2002, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Born Jan. 2, 1959, in Hayti, daughter of Dorothy Fountain Brewer of Portageville and Sammie Campbell of Chicago, Ill., she was a member of the New Life, New Beginnings World Outreach Center in Lilbourn, where she served as a missionary.

Survivors include: two sons, Benard Fountain and Devin Fountain of Sikeston; three brothers, LaVern Fountain of Eugene, Ore., Chris Fountain of Blytheville, Ark., and Michael Fountain of Portageville; three sisters, Sylvia Smith of New Madrid, Cynthia Fultz of Blytheville and Sandra Thompson of Osceola, Ark.; and two grandsons.

Visitation is from noon Thursday until service time at 1 p.m. at New Life, New Beginnings World Outreach Center. Elder Nathaniel Green, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

Williams, Farr and Purnell Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
