Goldie Hill

BLOOMFIELD - Goldie Lorene Hill, 93, died April 18, 2004, at her home.

Born Sept. 10, 1910, in Carmi, Ill., daughter of the late James and Laura Majors Hutchcraft, she worked for Elder Manufacturing for 27 years and was co-owner of the Circle Drive-In at Bloomfield. She was a member of the Hill Church in Bloomfield.

On Aug. 15, 1931, at Dexter, she married Verlin Hill who preceded her in death on April 2, 1993.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Verlin Hill Jr.; and two sisters, Virginia Rose and Dulcie Sutherland.

Several nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Robert Lafferty will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hill Cemetery at Bloomfield.
