Buddy Ellers

BELL CITY - Amos Peter "Buddy" Eilers, 57, died Dec. 5, 2004, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Aug. 24, 1947, in St. Louis, son of Pauline Abney Eilers of Hillsboro and the late Amos Eilers, he retired as a sanitation supervisor for Hudson Foods in Bloomfield.

On Jan. 24, 1970, in St. Louis, he married Regina Coleman who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one son, Adam Eilers of Bloomfield; two daughters, Lois Eilers of Scott City and Amy Eilers of Bell City; two brothers, Charlie Eilers and Warren Eilers of Hillsboro; three sisters, Kathy Pryor of High Ridge and Mary Kite and Paulette Montgomery of Hillsboro; and five grandchildren.

Two sons preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Phil Thompson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Advance.
