Morlan scored four runs in each of the first four innings, while Kirby's added four in its final at-bat of the four-inning game.
Tyler Anderson picked up the win and led Morlan at the plate with a 2-for-2 day, including a home run.
Sam Lincoln and Vashawn Ruffin collected one hit each for Kirby's.
Ross Bohannon and Tanner Bryant combined for the shutout and Bohannon also paced KSIM with two hits in three trips to the plate.

Rodgers and Jason Isaacs went 1-for-3 for the winners and Michael Kuykendall went 1-for-2 for Wild Eyes.
Joshua Williams paced Noranda with a perfect 3-for-3, while teammates Scott Droddy, the winning pitcher, and Matthew Rushing added two hits in four plate appearances. Gratten Allen homered for Noranda.
Seth Baker and A. J. Vanover went 3-for-3 for House of Color and Braxton Britton added two hits.
Josh Pierce hurled the shutout with 10 strikeouts.
Taylor James went 2-for-3 and Chase Ferrell had a two-run double to lead the DeWitt offense.
