Clifford Oyler
TRENTON - Clifford Oyler, 78, died 11:25 a.m. Oct. 10, 2001, at the Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Born Oct. 1, 1923, in Grundy County, son of the late Bert and Mary Blanche Moore Oyler, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, was a farmer and raised cattle. He was a member of Hatton Chapel United Methodist Church and Joseph L. Norton VFW Post 919.
On Jan. 3, 1954, at Chillicothe, he married Rhoda Davidson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Teresa Oyler of Sikeston; one brother, Max Oyler of Trenton; and two sisters, Mary Larison and Frances Oyler of Kansas City.
Three brothers, Lyle Oyler, C.B. Oyler and an infant brother preceded him in death.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton with the Rev. Ron Lane officiating.
Graveside military rites will be conducted at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
