Marg Armstrong
WOOD RIVER, Ill. - Margaret H. "Marg" Hale Armstrong, formerly of Sikeston, died at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 19, 2004, at the Eunice C. Smith Nursing Home in Alton.
Born in Equality, Ill., she was the daughter of the late George L. and Grace E. Womack Hale Sr. A former member of the First United Methodist Church in Wood River, she was a member of the LCIA at Chautauqua, Junior Women's Club of Wood River and past secretary for the Wood River Social Planning Council.
Her husband, Charles F. Armstrong, survives of Wood River.
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles F. Armstrong; one daughter, Saralynn H. Spencer; and one brother, George L. Hale Jr.
Other survivors include: two grandsons, Charles F. Armstrong of Denver and Matthew A. Dobrowolski of Normal; and one granddaughter, Joanna L. Dobrowolski of Chicago.
Services were conducted Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Wood River with Gary Mosimann, senior pastor, officiating.
Burial followed in Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.
Allen and Ciuseri Funeral Home of Collinsville was in charge of arrangements.
