KELSO - John and Kim Backfisch have announced the engagement of their daughter, Christain, to Michael D. Warren Jr., son of Michael and Barbara Warren of Sikeston.
The future bride graduated in 1999 from Scott City High School and is employed by the Ferguson Medical Group in Sikeston.
Her fiance, a 1997 graduate of Sikeston High School and 1999 graduate of Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill., is employed by Alliance Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The couple will be married in a Dec. 22 ceremony at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bertrand.
