Dub Kelley
SIKESTON - William Thomas "Dub" Kelley Sr., 78, died Oct. 23, 2004, at the Clearview Nursing Center.
Born Sept. 30, 1926, in Sikeston, son of the late Homer and Myrtle Ida Alexander Kelley, he was a member of the Church of Christ in Morehouse. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a security guard for Missouri Delta Medical Center and Turner Dairy before retiring.
On Sept. 13, 1949, at Piggott, Ark., he married Glenda Mae Denbow who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five sons, William T. "Dubby" Kelley Jr. of Wickliffe, Ky., Roy Blake Kelley of Orlando, Fla., Greg Kelley of Bloomfield and Jeff Kelley and Colen Kelley of Sikeston; one daughter, Debra Kay Dodds of Searcy, Ark.; one sister, Jessie Dean Cruise of Morehouse; and 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Full military graveside rites will be conducted at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
