Irmabelle Keller

SIKESTON - Irmabelle Keller, 87, died Sept. 18, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Oct. 25, 1913, in Madison, Neb., daughter of the late Frederick Hamilton and Hattie Belle Thatch Davis, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston and was employed by the International Shoe Factory for eight years. She owned and operated a grocery store with her husband, delivered newspapers and had worked for Britt's Department Store and the Hallmark Store before retiring.

On June 18, 1933, she married Ira E. Keller who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1981.

Survivors include: one son, Don Frederick Keller of Clemson, S.C.; one daughter, Ann Davis Kem of Franklin, Ky.; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were an infant son and two sisters, Doris Carlson and Mary Garvin.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in the Dempster Chapel of the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Sandra Schaller, associate pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
