Joe Moore
SIKESTON - Joe Foster Moore, 61, formerly of Senath, died Oct. 23, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 28, 1943, in Senath, son of the late Van and Margie Mae Weaver Moore, he graduated in 1961 from Senath High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
On Dec. 22, 1962, he married Charlotte Norman who preceded him in death on May 26, 1969.
He and Vicki Curtis were married June 25, 1971, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joe Foster Moore Jr. of Sikeston, Henry Wayne and Sherri Moore of Festus and Christopher Curtis and Anne Moore of Sikeston; one brother, Jim Moore, address unavailable; one sister, Sandra Johnson of Merlouge, La.; and four grandchildren.
One brother Terry Moore, also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hayti with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Senath Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Keith Milligan, John Raines, Larry Masterson, Ed Edwards, Carlyn Bowman, Gene Turnage.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Missouri Weight Inspectors.
