Thomas Kizer

MALDEN - Thomas F. Kizer, 85, died Sept. 10, 2001, at the Ridgeview Nursing Home.

Born Dec. 28, 1915, in Ballard County, Ky., son of the late James and Allie Clark Kizer, he was a retired farmer. A resident of Risco for many years, he was a winter resident of Crystal River, Fla.

On Oct. 7, 1939, in Piggott, Ark., he married Laura Mae Cato who preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1987.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Betty Kizer of Clovis, N.M., and Thomas and Laurette Kizer of Farmington Hills, Mich.; three grandchildren, Chip Kizer of Albuquerque, N.M., Laura Darzzeo of Roswell, N.M., and Lisa Steinle of Clovis; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
