Clifton Hinman

DEXTER - Clifton "Shorty" Hinman, 60, died Sept. 26, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 17, 1941, at Essex, son of Irene Sifford Hinman of Dexter and the late Durwood Hinman, he was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ. He was a mechanic for Paramount Hat and veteran of the U.S. Navy.

On Sept. 11, 1963, at Morehouse, he married Geraldine Moser who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two daughters, Ricki Goins and Kelli Robinett of Dexter; one brother, Larry Hinman of Dexter; and five grandchildren, Ciara McCoy, Blake Robinett, Draya Goins, Fisher Goins and Griffen Goins.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday with Dale Grissom officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
