'Tiny' Myrick

EAST PRAIRIE - Delsie M. "Tiny" Myrick, 74, died at 9 p.m. Oct. 6, 2004, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 14, 1929, in the Pulltight community near East Prairie, to the late Joseph and Ollie Roach O'Connor, she had been employed with Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston and CB Forms in East Prairie. She was affiliated with the Baptist church.

On Nov. 8, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., she married Lyndon "Runt" Myrick, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Linda Ahlfield and Charlotte McCutchen of East Prairie; two sisters, Sally True and Agnes Leech of East Prairie; and four grandsons, one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. George White, pastor of the First Baptist Church of East Prairie, will officiate.

Burial will be in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
