Gary Darnall

SIKESTON - Gary Ronald Darnall, 53, died Oct. 6, 2004, at his home in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 13, 1951, in Sikeston, to Jolene Tyrone of Sikeston and the late Harry Robert Darnall, he worked for Mercer's Body Shop in Sikeston and attended the Miner Baptist Church.

In 1970 he married Rita Carolyn Skinner, who preceded him in death in 1973.

Surviving in addition to his mother are: one son, Eric Darnall of Sikeston; two daughters, Roxanne Darnall of Sikeston and Rita Lynn Darnall of Darien, Conn.; one sister, Tona Nicoson of Sikeston; and two grandchildren, Jessica Porter and Tyler McClinton of Sikeston.

One brother, Rick Darnall, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Mitchell Jackson, pastor of the Miner Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
