Ida Perry
WYATT - Ida M. Perry, 95, died Sept. 21, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 4, 1906, in Banard, Miss., daughter of the late Dan and Alma McDory Cross, she lived in Missouri for many years. She was a member of Sanders Chapel AME Church in Wyatt, where she had served as trustee, usher and on the Mothers Board.
Survivors include: one son, Murry Ashberry of Charleston; four daughters, Dorothy Pattin of Decatur, Ill., Alma Jean Clinton of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Hazel Lee Amos and Ruby Dowell of Wyatt; and 45 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Mound City, Ill. The Rev. Wiley Reed, pastor of the Second Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
