Louis Ingram

ADVANCE - Louis Ingram, 79, died Sept. 18, 2001, at the Advance Nursing Center.

Born Dec. 12, 1921, at Lilbourn, son of the late Lemuel and Mamie Barnett Ingram, he was a retired carpenter. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Europe for three years during World War II.

On Nov. 28, 1958, at Gordonville, he married Elizabeth Burns who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one brother, Lucian Ingram of Madison Heights, Mich.; and four sisters, Geneva Glass of Madison Heights, Bessie Cronk of Brudenville, Mich., and Wanda Lanpher and Janice Morgan of Advance.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Virgil Bunch and Roy Haynie, officiating.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park.
