Fannie Clark
STE. GENEVIEVE - Fannie L. Clark, 81, died at 2:45 p.m. Sept. 17, 2001, at Ste. Genevieve Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 20, 1919, in Mercer, Tenn., daughter of the late William Harrison and Laura Julia Bushart Groves, she was a member of the Morehouse Faith General Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 450. She was co-owner and operator of Clark's Market in Morehouse for 33 years.
On Dec. 11, 1937, in Caruthersville, she married Edmond Monroe Clark who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1997.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Dannie E. and Linda Clark of Ste. Genevieve; one brother, Dan Groves of Deering; and four grandchildren.
One brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where the Sikeston and Morehouse Orders of the Eastern Star will conduct rites at 7 p.m.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of Sikeston Community Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Dannie Clark, Jeff Clark, Arlon Pulliam, Ronnie Towe, Norman Crumpecker and Harold Clark.
