CAPE GIRARDEAU - Darlene Haley, 19, died Oct. 16, 2001, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born June 30, 1982, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of Austin Eugene Haley and Dorothy Ann Strickland Haley of Sikeston.

Other survivors include: one brother, Eugene Haley of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Tonya Strickland of Vandalia, Annette Strickland of Sikeston, Diana Haley and Beverly Haley of Cape Girardeau and Janice Haley of Metropolis, Ill.; six uncles, Joe Wilbert Haley and Cleatus Haley of Charleston, J. Lucle of Moberly, Ernest Strickland of Hannibal and Sylvester King of Portageville; nine aunts, Arzalia Jania, Bernice Flye, Erma Jean Walker, Willie Ann Randolph and Ella Strickland of Sikeston, Janet Miller of California, Mary Ann Davis of Hannibal, Leeantha Strickland of Farmington and Lisa Dyes of Parma; seven nephews, Fuazuon Strickland, Stevie Foreman, Stefuan Foreman and Darrion Foreman of Sikeston and Couvariseya Strickland of Parma and Dominic Haley and Damon Haley of Cape Girardeau; and five nieces, Jameshia Johnson of Parma, Kierra Haley of Vanduser, Jasmine Haley of Metropolis, Myesha Haley of Cape Girardeau and Shatika Thatch of Charleston.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Sylvester Morgan, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery at New Madrid.

Pallbearers will be: Lavontase Strickland, Mario Dye, Vaughn Shephard Jr., Melvin Strickland, Willie Brown Jr. and Eugene Haley.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
