Zoa Cox

PUXICO - Zoa Gertrude Cox, 90, died Nov. 2, 2001, at the Puxico Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 9, 1911, near Puxico, daughter of the late William C. and Betty Hastings Gray, she lived in the Kinder and Puxico areas all her life and was a member of the Kinder Chapel near Puxico.

On Feb. 3, 1934, she married Aurthur M. Cox who preceded her in death on May 8, 1984.

Survivors include: one son, Dwaine Cox of Dexter; two daughters, Pansy S. Barnfield of Puxico and Jewell Cookson of Imperial; one brother, Leon Gray of Fisk; and six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Ray Placher and the Rev. Johnny Buttry of Puxico will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
