Larry Wadlington

SCOTT CITY - Larry Dale Wadlington, 66, died at 11:05 p.m. Sept. 15, 2001, at his home.

Born Nov. 26, 1934, in Fornfelt, son of the late Euin and Lorene Hensley Wadlington, he was a representative for Robbins Pharmaceuticals and Southeast Hospital Outreach Lab and officiated at high school and college basketball games. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

On Dec. 8, 1990, at Scott City, he married Sharon Elaine Barks Simmers who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Steve Wadlington of Memphis, Tenn., and Scott Wadlington of St. Louis; one daughter, Sandra Rhodes of Cape Girardeau; one stepson, Aaron Simmers of Scott City; one brother, Dean Wadlington of Scott City; and seven grandchildren.

One sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Luther Rhodes and the Rev. Sam Ramdial will officiate.

Burial will follow in Cape County Memorial Park.
