Paul Shaver

BLOOMFIELD - Paul W. Shaver, 79, died Aug. 22, 2001, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born May 27, 1922, in Sikeston, son of the late Thomas and Ollie Holloman Shaver, he was a bricklayer for many years and attended the Link Church near Bloomfield.

On April 2, 1949, at Clay County, Ark., he married Louise Hester who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, David Shaver of California; one sister, Carrie James of St. Louis; and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard G. Shaver; and one sister, Ruby Henson.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. M.C. Moore officiating.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
