Earline Gaddy
SIKESTON - Earline Gaddy, 78, formerly of East Prairie, died at 3:25 a.m. Aug. 5, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born April 9, 1926, in Mississippi County, daughter of the late Milburn Davis and Opal Mae Childers Allen, she lived in East Prairie most of her life, where she was a member of the Full Gospel Church.
On Dec. 1, 1945, she married Elmer Gaddy, who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1986.
Survivors include: three sons, Leslie Leon Gaddy of Arnold, Jerry Elmer Gaddy of Barnhart and Kevin Allen Gaddy of East Prairie; four daughters, Beverly Gayle Huston of Olathe, Kan., Judith Fern Tanner of Bend, Ore., Kathy Lisa O'Guin of East Prairie and Darla Earline Lofton of Sikeston; one sister, Eva Mitchell of East Prairie; and 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Tal Allen and Leon Allen; three sisters, Alline Garrett, Meryle Allen and Geneva Mitchell; and one granddaughter, Heather Marie Gaddy.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday with Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
