Charlie Walker
CORINTH, Miss. - Charles Robert "Charlie" Walker, 63, died Sept. 19, 2001, at his home.
The son of the late Charles W. and Medrith Olevia Troxell Walker was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston, Mo. He was employed by Roger's Supermarket for 32 years and served with the U.S. Army in the Berlin Crisis.
His wife, Shirley Walker, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two brothers and one sister-in-law, John Walker of Woodbridge, Va., and Don and Peggy Walker of Camden, Miss.; four nieces, Sandra McCormick of Finger, Tenn., Angela Walker of Alexandria, Va., Kim Brooks of Corinth, Miss., and Kamala Walker of Salem, Ore.; and two nephews, Richard Brooks Jr. of Jackson and Matthew Walker of Orlando, Fla.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at the Magnolia Funeral Home in Corinth. The Rev. Kenny Digby will officiate.
Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Gardner, Mark Gardner, Dustin Brent Bivens, Tony Bivens, Ricky H. Essary, Kenny Gates, Wiley Harland and Ricky Hutson.
