Richard Ward

SIKESTON - Richard Dale Ward, 48, died Oct. 29, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 4, 1953, in St. Louis, son of the late Robert and Mildred Wakefield Ward, he was a cutter for Himmelberger-Harrison in Morehouse and an attendant for Home Oil Co. in Sikeston.

On April 3, 1975, in Sikeston, he married Alice Ward who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Mike Bryan and Jeffery Bryan of Sikeston and Bobby Bryan of Fruitland; one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Steve Oakes of Sikeston; two brothers, Terry Ward of Bethany and Billy Ward of Delta; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon Thursday until time for a memorial service at 1 p.m. at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Maze will officiate.
