Icess Milligan

CHAFFEE - Icess Lorraine Milligan, 70, died at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 5, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 29, 1931, in Dexter, daughter of the late James Marion Markland and Ella Loveda Lane Markland, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau.

On Aug. 1, 1960, she married Everett "Bud" Milligan who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, David Hardesty of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Hardesty of Barnhart and Phillip Milligan of Eureka; two brothers, Charles Markland of Scott City and Allen "Sonny" Markland of Rock Falls, Ill.; one sister, Barbara Smith of Sikeston; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and one brother.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley with David Bragg officiating.
