SIKESTON - When visiting baseball teams leave the Sikeston VFW ballpark, Gary Howard wants them to go home with the feeling that they've played at the best facility in the area. "I was told by some scouts that with a little work, VFW could be the best ballpark in Southeast Missouri," Howard said. "We're in the process of doing the work now and I believe that when everything is done it will be. I think it will be even better than Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau." The total cost of the project is $15,000 with about $13,000 already raised.
